Which reMarkable devices are supported?

Remarkify works with reMarkable 1, reMarkable 2, reMarkable Paper Pro and Paper Pro Move. All models receive native handwritten strokes — not PDFs.

Is it really free?

Yes. New accounts get 5 free trial conversions with full font access. No credit card, no trial timer — the credits never expire, and you upgrade only when you need more.

What counts as one conversion?

Each send to your reMarkable uses one credit — whether it is a short highlight or a long article. One send is one conversion, not per page.

What makes this different from sending a PDF?

PDFs are static images locked on a layer you can't touch. Remarkify uses handwriting-style fonts and converts them into real pen strokes — the same .rm format your own handwriting uses. You can erase, move, and edit the text with your pen just like your own notes. Tables, headings, and lists are all preserved.

Can it write in my own handwriting?

Yes. In Preferences, send the alphabet sheet to your reMarkable, write each character in its box and sync. Remarkify builds a personal font from your strokes, and you pick it like any other font. Characters you skip fall back to the built-in font, and you can delete your handwriting at any time.

What happens to images in my selection?

They are sent along with the text and redrawn as pen strokes in the style you choose: contour, sketch, crosshatch, ink wash or colored hatch. You can also keep the original photo, or turn images off entirely in Preferences.

Do I need to keep my browser open?

No. Once you click 'Send to reMarkable', the conversion happens on our server. You can close the tab immediately. The document will sync to your device via the reMarkable cloud.

Does it work with any website?

Yes — any page where you can select text works with Remarkify. Articles, blogs, research papers, documentation, recipes — anything you can highlight.
