What counts as a send, what the free trial and Plus include, and how to upgrade, change or cancel a Stripe or App Store subscription.
What counts as a send
Every time a notebook is sent to your reMarkable, it uses one credit. Length doesn't matter: a single quote and a twenty-page article both count as one send.
- Sending from the Chrome extension, the iPhone share sheet or a Text Editor on the web or in the app
- Resending an entry from History (it is delivered again, so it counts again)
Capturing your handwriting, changing settings and browsing History are free.
Plans
| Plan | Sends | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Free | 5, once | A trial for new accounts. No card, no time limit, all fonts and image styles. |
| Plus, monthly | 100 per month | Billed monthly. |
| Plus, yearly | 100 per month | Billed once a year; your 100 sends still refill every month. |
Current prices are on the pricing section. Your remaining sends are shown in Account, in the Chrome extension popup and in the iPhone app.
Upgrading
On the web, go to Upgrade; payment is handled by Stripe. In the iPhone app, subscribe with your Apple ID. Either way, Plus applies to your whole account: web, Chrome and iPhone.
Changing or cancelling
A subscription is managed where you bought it:
- Bought on the web: Account → Manage opens the Stripe billing page, where you can update your card, see invoices or cancel.
- Bought in the iPhone app: iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Remarkify. The app's Account tab has a shortcut to the same place.
When you cancel, Plus stays active until the end of the period you have paid for.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account from Account. It removes your profile, History, credits, settings, handwriting and tablet connection straight away. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription: cancel it first, as above.
